What we're about
We're a small local business founded by Sam, a 30-year old entrepreneur who designed the space after consistently craving new connections that she wasn’t able to find herself.
Driven by the belief that connection should be easy, intentional and cool, she quit her glossy marketing job to take a chance on making real change and solving a problem that affects every one in two of us.
What's this about funding?
We're in an accelerator program with global Venture Capital firm, Antler, and have been given a variety of goals to prove the potential of Butter. One of these goals is community growth.
If we hit these milestones, we get to pitch for their investment in April. As a business that's currently self-funding, this is an incredible opportunity to grow and scale beyond our current means - and make Butter as successful as we know it can be.

Butter's success relies on great people and great plans. So, we'll be using much of the investment to scale nationwide.

To attract the best talent, we need to be able to pay them (and ourselves!).
