Do I need a following to host?
Nope. Plenty of our hosts started with a few friends and a group chat. Your plans show up in the Explore feed for people nearby who are into the same stuff, and new clubs get a little boost when they launch. Not sure anyone's keen yet? Post an idea first and see who bites.

What fees do you charge?
Free plans don't cost a thing. On ticketed plans, our fee is 8.6% + 30c per ticket, and that covers payment processing too. You choose whether you absorb it or pass it on to your guests at checkout.

Can I make free plans?
Yes! Free plans are free to run, and you can post as many as you like. If there are costs to cover, like court hire, use a jar so everyone chips in, and guests can leave you a tip after free plans too.

Do people need the app to join my plans?
For ticketed plans, guests can buy straight from your link on the web. To RSVP to a free plan, they'll need the Butter app, which is free and takes about a minute to set up.

Do I need a club?
We'd recommend one. Your personal profile stays as you, and your club is the home for your community: it has its own page and chat, shows up in the Explore feed, and keeps people around between plans. Tap + and Start a club to set one up.

How do new people find my plans, or club?
Your plans and club show up in the Explore feed for people nearby. Clubs with an upcoming plan show up more, so keep something on the calendar. The hosts who fill fastest also pop their Butter link in their bio and share it in their stories.

Can I co-host with someone?
Yes, you can add co-hosts to your plans. Right now a plan can only sit under one club, so it'll show on the main host's club page rather than both.
